Eckart von Klaeden

Eckart Peter Hans von Klaeden ( born November 18, 1965 in Hannover ) is a German lawyer, lobbyist and politician ( CDU). He is the Head of Policy and External Relations, Daimler AG.

Life

Background, education and vocational

Eckart von Klaeden was born the son of a pastor and a social worker in Hanover. The family of Klaeden was already in the early modern period the Altmark Junker state - their origin is now a district of the town Bismark ( Altmark) -, that is not a person, but " old" nobility. They were resident in Gohre in the Altmark since 1620. After graduation in 1985 at the Kaiser -Wilhelm -Gymnasium Hannover he made from 1985 to 1987 as a reserve officer candidate his military service in the Panzer Lehr Battalion 334 in Celle- shy from. He went through his training, inter alia, at the Panzertruppenschule in Munster. After promotion to captain in the reserve, he joined the strike force, and is now the rank of lieutenant commander of the reserve.
