Ecole des ingenieurs de la Ville de Paris

The Ecole des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris (short: EIVP; German: " Engineering School of Paris ") is the only French Grande Ecole d' Ingénieurs with an emphasis on Urban Engineering. Under the direction of the city of Paris, the university was founded in 1959. Since 2009 it is connected to the École des Ponts et Chaussées. She is a member of the Center for Research and Higher Education PRES ( Pôle de recherche et d' enseignement supérieur ) of the Université Paris -Est. The college is located at 15, rue Fénelon in Paris. The new campus opened in September 2012 at 60, rue Rebeval in the 19th arrondissement of Paris.

Actually, founded to support the junior officers of the Paris city council, it is now also young people for the private sector. Study subjects are focused excessively: civil engineering, land use planning, transportation planning, environmental sciences and energy supply.

Foreign students can apply through the Erasmus program or via the "N i- Network", interns are encouraged.

The EIVP maintains partnerships with the Technical University of Dresden and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

  • Combined diploma as an engineer and architect. Offered in collaboration with the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris -La Villette ( ENSAPLV ). Completion after five years possible.
  • Master, accredited jointly with the École des Ponts, in local - municipal engineering and computer science ( URBANTIC ). Completion after five years possible.
  • Short seminar on sustainable urban development.
