Eddie Dew

Edward M. Dew ( born January 29, 1909 in Sumner, Washington; † April 6, 1972 in Burbank, California ) was an American actor and film director.

Life

Since the mid-1930s Dew worked in the film business and in 1943 was taken from the Republic under contract who wanted to start with him a new Paul Revere series. After two films in which he respectively Smiley Burnette was set aside, but was disbanded his contract again and Bob Livingstone used in his role. Dew went to Universal Studios, playing minor roles; also he led from time to time directed some small Western, religious films and the television series Sergeant Preston, which was produced from 1955 to 1958.
