Eden Kane

Eden Kane ( born March 29, 1941 in Delhi; actually Richard Sarstedt ) is a British singer.

He was born in the former British colony of India, the son of English landowners. As a result of the Indian independence drew only the father and then the mother with him and his three brothers in 1954 to England. Before the family had reached England, Richard's father died.

Kane was at the beginning of the 1960s, well before his brothers Peter and Robin Sarstedt, an idol of teenagers. With his first single Well I Ask You he reached the top of the UK charts in June 1961. Four other top ten hits followed 1961-1964.

In the 1970s, he tried to cooperate to build a career with his brothers, but without commercial success. After that, Kane moved to the U.S. and now lives in Los Angeles, where he still gives concerts.

In 2001 he played in the final episode of the television series Star Trek: Voyager, an admiral of Starfleet.
