Edgar Bruno da Silva

Edgar Bruno da Silva ( born January 3, 1987 in São Carlos ) is a Brazilian footballer. He plays since 2010 in Vitória Guimarães in the Super League, the Portuguese top.

Career

Edgar began his career at Paulistinha, from where he moved to the first team of junior Ville EC 2005. Beginning of the 2006/07 season he moved on loan to Sao Paulo. With three missions he belonged to the masters squad for the 2006 season. In January 2007, he moved to Portugal and signed for SC Beira -Mar. There he rose to the club promptly from the Portuguese top off, but he was able to draw attention to themselves through performance, so that the master of the Season 2006/ 07 FC Porto Edgar committed. In the fall it was used for postage twice before he was loaned to Académica Coimbra in January. Coimbra reached the twelfth.

Beginning of the 2008/09 season he was loaned to FK Red Star Belgrade in Serbia. For the Serbs, he made his debut at European club level. In the UEFA Cup qualifier against the representative of Cyprus APOEL Nicosia on 14 August 2008 by Edgar played and scored the goal for the temporary 1-0 lead. The game ended 2-2 in Nicosia. After a total of eight league games and two European Cup games, he returned to Red Star 's back and changed for half a year in the home to CR Vasco da Gama. He was not happy and returned for the season 2009/10 back to Europe and joined Nacional Funchal. In his first season with the team from Madeira he could achieve twelve goals in 24 games. He also scored one goal in the Europa League. In the championship he reached the 7th place with the club. Since the season 2010/11 Edgar plays for Vitória Guimarães.

For Brazil, Edgar has played in the U -20 team.
