Edward F. Cline
Edward F. Cline ( born November 7, 1892 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, † May 22, 1961 in Hollywood ) was an American actor, screenwriter and director.
Life
Cline began his career as a stage actor. He came in 1914 to the Keystone Studios where he made his first film appearance as a police officer in The Knockout. For Keystone studio director Mack Sennett he began working as a Gaglieferant and from 1916 as a director. As a film director, he then turned to 1947 167 movies, especially comedies and short films, co-directed by Buster Keaton and some films with WC Fields. In 1951, he developed the television series Life with Buster Keaton.
