Edward Kirby

Edward Kirby ( Edward Buckler "Ed" Kirby, born October 30, 1901 in Washington, DC; † June 5, 1968 in West Orange ) was an American middle and long distance runners.

In 1923, he was starting for the Cornell University with his personal best time of 4:17,8 min IC4A champion in the mile run.

In 1924, he was U.S. champion over 880 yards. In the team race over 3000 meters of the Olympic Games in Paris, he came to sixth place and won with the U.S. team bronze.
