Edwin Benne

Edwin John Benne (born 21 April 1965, Amersfoort ) was a long -standing player in the Dutch national volleyball team and is since 2003 Volleyball Coach.

Benne played various international teams as well as the Dutch national team. As a coach, he led a Dutch professional team to the championship and built a volleyball school with 250 members on. From August 2008 to January 2010, he coached the Schwerin SC, with whom he became German champion in 2009. Since March 2010 he has been head coach of the U19 national team of the Netherlands. In 2011, he trained in Germany in the second Bundesliga South the women of the DJK Augsburg- inch high.

  • Two Olympic appearances: 5th place in Seoul in 1988, 2nd place in Barcelona in 1992
