Efthimios Karamitsos

Efthimios Karamitsos ( born August 1, 1956 in Sykea, Greece ) is a German - Greek karate coach (7th Dan ) and author of several sports books.

Career

In 1975 he began to study medicine in Italy, at the same time he trained at Perlati and Hiroshi Shirai Karate. In Germany he studied sports science in Frankfurt am Main and trained under Miura, and Hideo Ochi Karate on. His interest in competition was very strong and brought him a lot of success. The biggest titles were won in the domain Kata. After completing his degree and successful competitive career he taught in his dojo and are regular international courses. Since 1992 he has been national coach for the Kata area.
