Egersund

Egersund is a town in the municipality Eigersund in Rogaland, Norway on the Dalane Coast. The city has a natural harbor and is mentioned in the Icelandic sagas. 1843, the city is from a fire heavily destroyed. Until the closure of the local porcelain factory in 1979 manufacture of porcelain was the city's main industry. From 1993 to 2008, there was a ferry service to Hanstholm in Denmark, led by Egersund continue to Bergen.
