Egon Jönsson

Egon Jönsson ( born October 8, 1921 in Malmo, † 19 March 2000) was a Swedish football player and coach.

Career

Jönsson played for Malmö FF in Allsvenskan. With the club he was four times Swedish champion. After his retirement, he was the assistant coach at the club. In addition to six championships won to reach the final in the European Champions Cup was 1978/79, the greatest success.

Jönsson played 22 international matches for the Swedish national team. He participated in the World Cup in 1950 and was the country select third parties.
