Egvad Sogn ( German Ekwatt ) is a parish municipality (Danish: Sogn ) in Northern Schleswig in southern Denmark. Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Sønder Rangstrup Herred in the former Aabenraa office then to Rødekro in the former South Jutland Office, which has risen in the course of municipal reform on 1 January 2007 in the "new " Aabenraa municipality in Region Syddanmark the.

History

In the Middle Ages Egvad belonged to Süderrangstrup - Harde in the Duchy of Schleswig.
