Eichsfeld-Südharz

History

The management community was founded on 31 July 1991. On 20 August 1993, the three municipalities of the joint management Upper Bode were added after their dissolution. The merger of the municipalities Bischofferode, Großbodungen and Neustadt to the municipality Ohmberg On 1 December 2010, the number of member municipalities was reduced from eleven to nine. The eight other municipalities joined on 1 December 2011 along with the new community Sunstone; managing community was disbanded it.
