Einar Karlsson (* August 1, 1909; † October 23, 1967 ) was a Swedish football player.

Career

Karlsson played at Gårda BK to its most successful period in the 1930s and 1940s in the Fotbollsallsvenskan. He played there on the side of players like the internationals Henock Abrahamsson, Gunnar Gren or Harry Johansson. 1938 saw the fifth place in the Premier League, the best result in the club's history. Already in 1935, the player was first appointed to the Swedish national team, but came only sporadically stakes. With it, the striker took part in the World Cup 1938, came during the tournament but not used. Overall, he played three matches.
