The Aeropuerto Internacional El Alto ( LPB IATA Code, ICAO Code SLLP ) is the international airport of La Paz in Bolivia. He is in the field of the neighboring city of El Alto, about 13 kilometers southwest of La Paz

It counts with 4061 meters above N.N. ( 13,325 feet) to the highest airports in the world. To be allowed to fly to El Alto, pilots are required to have additional training or training in the simulator, as approaches to make high-altitude airfields significantly higher demands on flight crews.
