Due to the city is the only large, surviving railway line for passenger service in Mexico, called CHEPE ( Ferrocarril Chihuahua al Pacífico ). The railway line, which passes through the Copper Canyon, connects Los Mochis to Chihuahua. In addition, El Fuerte is climatically better and the railway line between Los Mochis and El Fuerte is more or less unspectacular.
