El Rosal is a city founded in 1997 in Colombia in a circle Sabana Occidente of the department of Cundinamarca, 40 km northwest of the Colombian capital Bogota located, and has 13,502 inhabitants ( 2005).

In the city is the monastery was founded in 1962 El Rosal of the Missionary Benedictines.
