Elasund or Elasund - The First City is a board game by Klaus Teuber. The illustrations are by Tanja Donner. The object of the game is to build a city, while achieving first ten victory points.

" Elasund " is the second game in the series " Adventure Catan " - after " Candamir - The first settlers ". Klaus Teuber has these games themed "The Settlers of Catan" settled in his classic game environment. However, there are standalone games where tactics and strategy are at the forefront. The structure and sequence is completely different from the original game " Settlers of Catan". The name comes from the name of the city from the settlers of the novel " The Settlers of Catan" by Rebecca Gable after Catan departed. Originally wanted Klaus Teuber with the game to make the Catan card game for 3 and 4 players to play. But during the development then was a stand-alone game, which was then expressed by the differently shaped building.

The game

The game symbolizes the construction and the life in the first city of the island of Catan. Gradually houses are built, a city wall and also jointly built a church. With increasing playing time the players compete and try to take away construction projects and to hinder.

The Game

It will be determined depending on the number of players on the appropriate areas of the city wall Stadttorplättchen. Then each player chooses a color.
