Elemér Terták

Elemér Terták ( born November 2, 1918 in Budapest, † July 8, 1999 ) was a Hungarian figure skater, figure skating judges and ISU official.

Elemér Terták started as Tibor of Földváry for the club BKE ( Skating Club Budapest). In 1936 he took part in the Winter Olympics, finishing in eighth place there, where even saw him one of the judges on the third place. In figure skating world championships 1937 he reached his best result by winning the bronze medal, 1935, 1938 and 1939, he came in sixth and 1934, he finished seventh. Similar success has come to him at the European Championships, where he won both 1934 and 1937 the bronze medal, two fifth places in 1936 and 1938, and a seventh rank 1935 round off his track record.

In the 1970s, he served as a referee at the World Figure Skating Championships.
