Elias Charalambous

Elias Charalambous (born 25 September 1980 in Johannesburg, South Africa) is a Cypriot football player.

Charalambous, who was born in South Africa, played since his youth in Omonia Nicosia. There he began his professional career and played for a long time successfully in the club. For the season 2005/ 06 he moved to Greece to PAOK Salonika, where he was a regular player. Nevertheless, he went to two years back to Omonia Nicosia. During the winter break of 2011/12 he moved to the German second division club Karlsruher SC, where he signed a contract until the end of the season. After this had expired, he went to the Romanian first division side FC Vaslui.

Since 2002 he is in the Cyprus national team and played until October 2010 a total of 59 matches.
