Eliza Outtrim

Eliza Outtrim (born 18 July 1985 in New Haven, Connecticut) is an American freestyle skier. She specializes in the moguls and dual moguls mogul disciplines.

Biography

As of December 2003 Outtrim took part in the Nor- Am Cup, the North American Continental Championship. The first victory at this level followed in February 2005. On January 13, 2006, she debuted in the Freestyle World Cup and binned in Deer Valley once in seventh. This, however, remained for a long time, her best result. Three years later, her back a top 10 result. In the 2008 /09 season she approached the world leaders and reached at the 2009 World Championships in sixth place in Dual Moguls competition.

At the beginning of the 2009/10 season Outtrim achieved unsatisfactory results, which is why they failed to qualify for the Olympic Winter Games. After three victories in the Nor- Am Cup in a row, she received another launch opportunity for the World Cup and won 18 March 2010 surprisingly the Moguls Competition in the Sierra Nevada. In the World Cup season 2010/11 Outtrim binned five times in the top ten at the 2011 World Championships she finished fifth in the moguls competition.
