Elizabeth of Sicily, Queen of Hungary

Elisabeth of Sicily ( also Isabella of Anjou; * to 1261, † 1290-1304 ) was Queen of Hungary.

She was born as the youngest daughter of King Charles I of Naples from the House of Anjou and his first wife Beatrice of Provence. 1272 she was married at the age of 11 years with one year younger King Ladislaus IV of Hungary. Ladislaus was in September of the same year crowned at the age of only 10 years to the king. The couple had no children.

Ladislaus was murdered in 1290 after 18 years of marriage and reign. In 1294 it confirmed the Queen Fenena the privilege of the church donations in Veszprém county to collect. You should have died 1294-1304. She was buried in the Dominican monastery in Naples. In 1314 in a judgment of an abbot of a monastery in Hungary, the illegitimate son of Queen was mentioned with his sons, he became the ancestor of the Keglević family.
