Elizabeth Olsen

Elizabeth Chase Olsen ( born February 16, 1989, Sherman Oaks, California) is an American actress.

Life and work

Elizabeth Olsen is the daughter of Jarnette (born Jones) and David Olsen, banker and developer. She has an older brother and the younger sister of Mary -Kate and Ashley Olsen. After graduating from high school in 2007 at the Campbell Hall School, she studied acting at the Atlantic Theater Company and attended film school Tisch School of the Arts.

After an appearance in the feature film adventure on the white water Ranch 1994 Elizabeth Olsen took over in 2011 starring in the horror film Silent House. In the same year she won the lead role as Martha in Martha Marcy May Marlene. For this role, she was for several awards, including the Saturn Award and Satellite Award nominations. In addition, she received from the Chicago Film Critics Association award as a Most Promising Performer. The Los Angeles Film Critics Association honored her and the other main characters as best offspring.

In Red Lights (2012 ) she starred opposite Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver.
