Elżbieta Pierzchała

Elżbieta Apolonia Pierzchała ( born July 5, 1954 in Sosnowiec ) is a Polish politician, Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Elżbieta Pierzchała studied at the Silesian University of Technology and graduated at the Department for Transport with an engineer for transportation from. Between 1978 and 2005 she worked for the Polish Koleje Państwowe (Polish State Railways ). There she was, among others, director of the Silesian regional transport companies in Katowice. From 1998 Elżbieta Pierzchała was also member of the Parliament of the Province of Silesia. In the parliamentary elections in 2005, she was able to win a mandate for the Sejm. This she defended at the early parliamentary elections in 2007, with 8553 votes.

Elżbieta Pierzchała is widowed and has a daughter.
