Emel Aykanat
Emel ( born June 8, 1975), actually Aykanat Emel, is a Swiss soul singer with Turkish roots.
Career
At the age of 17 years Emel toured as a background singer with Six Was Nine and Roachford through Europe.
Her first success was in 1993 as a female voice in the piece Somebody Dance With Me by DJ Bobo, whereupon appearances followed in many clubs. Your first album " Can We Talk " was released in 1996 and peaked in the Switzerland chart position 26 In Germany, the album was presented by radio station Jam FM.
