Emergency on Planet Earth is the debut album by British acid jazz band Jamiroquai. The album was released on 17 May 1993 in England and on June 11 in Germany. The album is the single Blow Your Mind, which made ​​it to Germany at number 33 of the singles chart.

General

The album was released by the English label S2 Records, which is subordinate to Sony Music and Sony Soho Square at that time was called (after the point at Soho Square in London). It was released on CD and as a double LP. On the double LP, the first four songs were advertised as " Extended Mixes ", where they were only extended by a few minutes. So take for example the title Too Young to Die on the CD six minutes, while he takes on vinyl ten minutes. The playing time of the LP as a whole is about nine minutes longer than the CD. On the cover is to see one in front of white background, a black Buffalo. The Buffalo Man is the band's logo.
