Emil Forselius

Emil Forselius ( born November 23, 1974 in Västervik, Sweden as Lars Emil Jansson; † 1 March 2010 at the Södermalm district of Stockholm ) was a Swedish actor.

Life

Forselius grew up in the small Swedish town Tandsbyn that led to the Östersund (municipality ) in the Swedish province of Jämtland County heard up and looked in his youth for a time the Swedish Antidrogenhilfsorgansation Hassela Solidaritet several times and was also active in the project.

From 1998 to 2002 Forselius studied at the Higher School of Theatre in Stockholm ( Teaterhögskolan i Stockholm ). In the 1997 Swedish film produced Tic Tac he made his film debut. For his performance as Lasse skinhead 1998 when he was awarded the Swedish Film Award Guldbagge. He entered 2007 at the Värmland Theatre at the World Premiere of " King Eric " ( Kung Erik ), where he played the role of the king. He had his last role in Wallander -series: collection, which in Sweden had its premiere on June 16, 2010.

Forselius suffered for several years from severe depression and committed suicide on 1 March 2010. On 2 March 2010, he was found by his mother dead in his apartment. He leaves behind his wife and a son.
