Émile-Georges Drigny

Émile -Georges DRIGNY ( born July 3, 1883 in Melun, † 1957) was a French water polo player, sports official and journalist.

DRIGNY took 1920 as a member of the French national team at the Summer Olympics in Antwerp in 1920. From 1928 to 1932 he was president of the International Swimming Federation FINA. In 1984 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the international swimming sport. In memory of DRIGNY a swimming hall was named after him in Paris in the 10th arrondissement.
