Emiliano Dumestre

Emiliano Dumestre Guaraglia (born 11 February 1987 in Colonia ) is a Uruguayan rower.

The 1.86 meter tall athlete erruderte the victory at the 2006 Games in South America Buenos Aires in occupied with Rodolfo Collazo, Ángel García and Joe Reboledo four. The following year he participated in the Pan American Games in 2007. Four years later he also won at the games in South America Colombian Medellín together with Rodolfo Collazo gold in two. In the Uruguayan four he won the silver medal there rank. For his participation in the Pan American Games of 2011, a medal win him, however, was denied. In 2012 he also took part in the aligned in Lucerne and Munich Rowing World Cup among others. There he reached Colazzo in the latter competition in two 3rd place of the C- Finals.

Dumestre was in the squad of the Uruguayan team for the Olympic Summer Games in 2012. In London he started with Rodolfo Collazo in the lightweight double sculls, reached the C- final and finished in 16th place.

Awards

As part of the Honors of the best Uruguayan athletes of the period 2009-2010 ( " Deportista del Año " ) he was on 28 March 2011 by the Comité Olímpico Uruguayan Teatro Solís together with Rodolfo Collazo as the best sportsman of the year 2010 in the category " Rowing " excellent.
