Emma Donoghue

Emma Donoghue (born 24 October 1969 in Dublin) is an Irish writer who currently lives in Canada.

Life

Emma Donoghue was born in Dublin, the youngest of eight children; her father is the literary critic Denis Donoghue. She received a B. A. by University College Dublin (in English and French) and a Ph.D. ( English ) from the University of Cambridge. 1998 she moved to London, Ontario, where she lives with her ​​partner and their children.
