Emmaline Henry

Emmaline Henry ( born 1 November 1928 in Philadelphia, † October 8, 1979 in Palm Springs ) was an American actress.

Biography

Emmaline Henry began her acting career as an actress, dancer and singer on the stage. The trained coloratura soprano joined, among others, on Broadway in the musicals Vintage '60 ( Brooks Atkinson Theatre ), Top Banana, Little Boy Blue and the musical version of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes on.

Her film debut was in 1954 in a small role in the theatrical version of Phil Silvers ' Broadway show Top Banana. This was followed by smaller and medium-sized roles in feature films such as the Doris Day comedy The blonde happiness, Divorce American Style ( with Dick Van Dyke ) and the Roman Polanski horror classic Rosemary's Baby.

A wide audience Emmaline Henry, however, was primarily known for her television roles. Since the 60s they were guest appearances on many popular television series such as The Munsters, Operation Petticoat and Bonanza. In 1965, she took a small role in the first season episode of Sidney Sheldon's fantasy comedy I Dream of Jeannie.
