Emmanuel Gómez

Emmanuel Gómez ( born December 20, 1990 in Banjul) is a Gambian football player.

Career

Gómez was a regular player at FC Samgar in GFA League First Division before he was taken in March 2009 together with his compatriot Amadou Sanyang from the Canadian MLS club Toronto FC under contract. His MLS debut in the central defender on 6 June 2009 against Los Angeles Galaxy. In March 2011, he was placed on the Waiver List of MLS and returned to Samgar FC.

Internationally

2008 Gómez participated with the Gambian U -20 team to qualify for the African Youth Championship 2009, failed with his team, but in the final qualifying round to Ghana. He coached also already with the Gambian national team to international match nominations came there but not yet.
