Emperor Sushun

Sushun (Japanese崇 峻 天皇, Sushun - tennō, † December 11 592 ) was the 32nd Tennō of Japan ( 587-592 ). He was the twelfth son of Emperor Kimmeis. His mother was a daughter of Soga no politician Iname.

After his brother died Kaiser Yomei, he ascended the throne with the help of his mother Soga clan. He was a Buddhist. He was 592, murdered by his Hofmann Yamato no Ayano Atai coma at the behest of Soga no Umako, a powerful nobleman. Sushun was the only Japanese Emperor, of which it is known for sure that he fell victim to an assassination attempt. He is also the only emperor handed down without grave.
