End of Green (band)

End of Green is a German rock band that was founded in 1992 in Stuttgart. The band's name refers, according to singer Michael Huber, the end of the symbolized by the color green hope. This fit to the type of music that produces the band. Your style indicates the band as Depressed Subcore. Lyrically it's about loneliness, depression, pain and death.

Band History

In 1996, the group released their debut album Infinity on Nuclear Blast. End of Green was also known for appearances with artists such as Subway to Sally, Paradise Lost, Iggy Pop or In Extremo. With Dead End Dreaming of the band for the first time succeeded in entering the charts. In the Wave -Gotik-Treffen 2006 and also at the Wacken Open Air in the same year they showed presence. On 15 August 2008 the album The Sick's Sense appeared. The limited edition includes a bonus CD with five acoustic versions of old and a new song.

Their next album, High Hopes in Low Places was released on 20 August 2010 and debuted at # 17 in the German album charts. In addition to this album another CD with 10 new versions of old songs was recorded.

On August 16, 2013 via Napalm Records released the eighth studio album entitled "The Pain Stream".
