Action
The railwaymen Will Haney and Leo Pickett work at a plant in Clifford (Arkansas ) and are friends. Haney's daughter Charlotte wants to marry again Everett, with whom she has been married once.
Haney and Pickett learn that the company they work for, wants to invest in aviation. The railway station is to be closed. The friends steal a locomotive with which they go to Chicago, where the company headquarters is located. You want the CEO Thomas Clinton convince, but not to close the plant. It turns out that the decision was not made by Clinton, but by his son Warren Gerber.
Reviews
Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun - Times 8 April 1988, the film had " a heart in the right place ," but he need more cynicism. He is a film that belongs to another, innocent time.
