Endevor

Endevor (Environment for Developers and Operations ) is a change management program the company CA, Inc. for version management in software life cycles. The IT market research firm Forrester Research reported in Endevor report Process -Centric Software Configuration Management, in which the world's leading process-oriented software configuration management tools are compared.

Endevor is currently mainly used in professional mainframe environment (such as under IBM-z/OS ) for version control, but is also available for Eclipse.

When changing the source code between the development of layers, the JCL and DB2 -related interfaces for the modules to be integrated executable. In particular, the PLAN PACKAGE management is taken over by Endevor.

Delivered is currently the version 12 of the software. In addition the manufacturer offered training courses since 1992 is an international organization coordinating the Endevor users Squad, of which 26 are officially recognized by CA.
