The English Springer Spaniel is a recognized by the FCI British breed (FCI Group 8, Section 2, Standard No. 125).

Origin and History

The ancestors of today's Springer Spaniel one of the oldest hound types of Britain and are ancestors of all Spaniels (up to the Clumber Spaniel). In the 17th century the type was mentioned in the literature, in 1803 there was an illustration in The Sportsman's Cabinet, and in 1885 was incorporated in England for him the Spaniel Club.

Description
