The ENSAE ParisTech ( École Nationale de la Statistique et de l' Administration Economique ) is a resident of Malakoff near Paris Grande école. It is one of the most prestigious schools in France in the field of economics, statistics and finance. She is a member of ParisTech.

History

The ENSAE was founded in 1942. She was at the Service National des for Statistics ( predecessor of the Institut national de la statistique et des études économiques ( INSEE ) ) attached and was originally called école d'application de la statistique. 1946 changed to this name due to the creation of the INSEE (French equivalent to the German Federal Statistical Office), école d'application de l' INSEE. At this time the target was only the training of officials for the INSEE.

On November 2, 1960, the name becomes École nationale de la statistique et de l' administration économique changed. The training was diverse and former students of law and economics were able to apply from now on for a degree.

The training of officials for the INSEE statisticians and management was transferred in 1994 with the founding of the École nationale de la statistique et de l' analyze de l'information ( ENSAI ) to Rennes.

Training

The school is integrated with the location in the same building INSEE and reports directly to the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment.

Graduates receive the title of " économiste statisticien ".

The ENSAE recruited students with different backgrounds:

  • Graduates from different classes Préparatoires. Exchange programs / partnerships

During the Franco-German University there are dual degree programs between the ENSAE and the Humboldt University of Berlin and the University of Mannheim. In addition, the University of Bonn offers a one-year exchange program with the ENSAE.

There is also a double degree program with HEC Paris.
