Envy (English rapper)

Nicola Varley (born 9 April 1987), known as Envy, is a British rapper from Manchester, whose style is assigned to the sub-genre Grime.

Biography

Varley began in 2003 with the writing of songs. While she was initially compared with other artists from the immediate environment, they managed to create their own place in the British Grime scene, which had been previously dominated by men. 2008 their single Tongue Twister appeared on the label Stop Start Records.

After Varley had graduated from Loughborough University a degree in the media, since it focuses entirely on her music career. This was reflected in the form of the second single Friday Night down.
