Pharmacology

Mode of action ( pharmacodynamics )

Eperisone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant drug. In addition, he has an analgesic action component. These effects are brought at the molecular level with a local anesthetic -like inhibition of voltage-gated sodium and calcium channels on primary afferent motor neurons and, thus, in conjunction with an inhibition of the release of transmitters in communication.

Clinical information

Areas of application
