Epoxies

The Epoxies were a Portland (Oregon ) originating American New Wave / Punk band whose music was dominated by synthesizers and particularly the relatively monotonous sounding vocals. The members of the band used all pseudonyms.

Band History

The group got together in 2000. Your published 2002 debut album epoxies sold according to their label Fat Wreck Chords later 20,000 times. In 2004, the epoxies played as opener for NOFX a European tour; the frontman of NOFX, Fat Mike, took part in the production of their second album, which was released on his label Fat Wreck Chords.

The band on the compilation Rock Against Bush Vol 1 was heard. In 2005 appeared the second extension to the Sims 2 Synthesized song was once again added to Simlish and can be heard within the game on the New Wave radio station. Since 2007 it has been quiet around the band. Singer Roxy Epoxy commented in an interview about the future of the band and has said that they themselves do not know whether only a longer break will inserted at the moment or epoxies would have finally separated. The latter would seem more likely, however, to imagine.
