Erasmus Grasser

Erasmus Grasser (* 1450 in Schmidmühlen (Oberpfalz ), † 1518 in Munich ) was a sculptor.

Life

Grasser came around in 1472 after completing his years of travel in Munich. Grasser is the namesake of the Munich Erasmus Grasser -Gymnasium and the Schmidmühlener Erasmus Grasser Elementary School. According to him also the Erasmus Grasser Prize of the city of Munich is named.
