Eray Birniçan
Eray Birniçan ( born July 20, 1988 in Bakırkoy, Istanbul) is a Turkish football goalkeeper, who plays for Çaykur Rizespor.
Career
Yıldırım Bosnaspor
Eray Birniçan began with the club football in the youth of his Istanbul home club Yıldırım Bosnaspor. In 2003, he received from his club a professional contract, but for the time being mainly played for the reserve team. During the season he got alongside his work at the second selection the opportunity to train even with the professional team. So he came in three seasons to six league appearances for the professional team.
Konyaspor
During the winter break of the season 2005/ 06 he moved to the Süper Lig club Konyaspor. Although he was brought to the professional team, he came here rarely used and played mainly in the second selection.
Samsunspor
To enable him match practice he was loaned in the season 2008/ 09 on the second division Samsunspor. Again, he was rarely used for the professional team and played more for the reserve.
Konyaspor
For the 2009/10 season he returned to Konyaspor. In the meantime Konyaspor rose from Süper Lig in the Bank Asya 1 Lig from. Despite the fact that Konyaspor was now playing a league lower Birniçan not come to regular stakes. So Birniçan expressed at season's end the desire to leave the club.
Gaziantepspor
For the season 2010/11 he moved to the Süper Lig team Gaziantepspor. While he came to two division operations in his first season, he was not used in the season 2011/12.
Çaykur Rizespor
On August 9, 2013 Birniçan signed a two -year contract with Çaykur Rizespor.
National
Eray Birniçan went through over the years the Turkish U -17, U -18, U -19 and U -21 Junior National Teams. In 2005 he took part with the Turkish U -17 to U -17 World Cup in 2005 and occupied with his team to fourth place. For squad included players like Nuri Şahin and Deniz Yılmaz.
