ErdoÄŸan Atalay

Erdoğan Atalay ( born September 22, 1966 in Hannover ) is a German actor.

Career

Erdoğan Atalay was on the IGS Garbsen member of the drama club and got 18 years at the Staatstheater Hannover a supporting role in the performance of Aladdin and the Magic Lamp Theater am Aegi. In 1987 he began studying at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg. After a few more small theater roles in Hamburg, he landed guest roles in use for Lobeck, Two Fronts, The Guard and The Clown.

His breakthrough achieved in March 1996 with the main role in Alarm für Cobra 11 - The Motorway Police. To date, he plays there the Turkish-born chief inspector Semir Gerkhan. His current partner rotation at the RTL action series is the actor Vinzenz Kiefer. Atalay has co-written the script of the episode "Checkmate " from Alarm für Cobra 11 from the year 2000.

Published in 2005 a short story written by Atalay ( Turkey is up there ) in the German -Turkish anthology What do you live?.

Parallel to the filming for Cobra 11 Atalay worked in spring 2012 together with his daughter Amira Pollmann (* 2002) for a sequence of ZDF series SOKO 5113th

In September 2012, he made together with Ilka Bessin (Cindy aus Marzahn ) the short film "Alarm for Cindy 11 ", a parody of Alarm for Cobra 11 The short film was broadcast in the show Cindy aus Marzahn and the young guns on September 15, 2012.

Personal life

His father is of Turkish origin and was in Turkey itself actor; the mother is German. Erdoğan Atalay, who speaks no Turkish itself, grew up with his sister in the family in Berenbostel. In 2004 he married the theater and film actress Astrid Ann -Marie Pollmann (* 1968), with whom he has a daughter (* 2002). The couple split at the end of 2009 mid- July 2012 came Atalay second child into the world.; the mother is the makeup artist Katja Ohneck and Atalay current girlfriend.
