Eric Van der Linden

Eric Van der Linden ( born April 17, 1974 in Schagen ) is a former Belgian triathlete.

Career

Eric Van der Linden has been active since 1996 as a professional triathlete and 2000 launched in Sydney at the Olympic Games. In the years 2000 and 2001, he was Belgian triathlon champion and finished second in two years ranked third in the Triathlon European Championships.

He could decide four times in his playing days the Alps Triathlon in Schliersee for themselves.

In 2002, he announced his retirement from professional sports, but returned in the following year back. His last international start was 2004.
