Erik Aadahl
Erik Aadahl (born 1976 ) is an engineer, who was in 2012 and 2013, nominated for an Oscar.
Life and career
Aadahl grew up in San Francisco.
In 2000 Aadahl was hired for the sound effects for the film comedy The Last Producer. This was followed by work on the sound for the films The Last Castle, Daredevil, X-Men 2, Fantastic Four, Operation Valkyrie - The Stauffenberg assassination attempt, as well as for animation films Kung Fu Panda and its sequel, Megamind, Monsters vs.. Aliens and Shrek Forever After. Michael Bay hired Aadahl for the three movies at Hasbro's Transformers. For the third part of the series Aaadahl 2012 received together with Ethan Van der Ryn his first nomination at the Oscars. The following year, but both times for Best sound editor were nominated for Argo
