Academy Award for Best Sound Editing

With the Oscar for best sound editing, the sound engineer of a film to be honored. Normally, it receives the main engineer of the film.

In the so-called " Bake-Off " is made on the last Tuesday in January by the sound department of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a preselection.
