70th Academy Awards

The Oscar Awards 1998 took place on 23 March 1998 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. It was the 70th Annual Academy Awards. In the year of award films of the past year are always excellent, in this case, the films of the year 1997.

Superior winner that night was the movie Titanic, which could clear 14 nominations whole eleven awards. He thus holds up today along with Ben Hur and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King the record for trophies.
