Geoffrey Rush

Geoffrey Rush AC ( born July 6, 1951 in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian actor. With the Oscar- winning film Shine his international breakthrough.

Life

Rush is the only child of Roy Rush, an accountant, and Merle Rush, a saleswoman. His first successes came on theater stages, before turning to film.
