48th Academy Awards
The Academy Awards 1976 took place on March 29, 1976 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. It was the 48th Annual Academy Awards. In the year of award films of the past year are always excellent, in this case, the films of the year 1975. Diana Ross was in this event, the first singer whose Oscar -nominated song Theme from Mahogany ( Do You Know Where You're Going to) was transferred from the film Mahogany live via satellite; she sang the song in the Netherlands, while they ran through the streets of Amsterdam.
